Director's Corner:
Welcome to the Green Clubs of America!! What an exciting beginning we have had this past year.  We have visited schools, began planning of our first contest events, we are meeting with sponsors for scholarships!  It has been a whirlwind.  The interest in the Green and Sustainable industries is huge.  Students and their parents want to know where the careers are going to be in their future.  Teachers are looking for resources and ideas for their classrooms. Industry partners are looking to help sponsor events and connect with students!
We will hold our first official board meeting in July at Las Vegas, Nevada.  The planning for our first leadership conference in Washington D.C. in 2011 is underway.
We will be posting our first on-line contests very soon and we are planning our first National GCA conference to be held in Glendale, Arizona in 2011.

We are excited to let you know that we have schools beginning projects around the country.  The Raymond S. Kellis High school chapter is hosting their first "Green" fair in their community on April 22nd 2010.
We are working hard to establish industry and community partnerships to help students achieve their career and leadership goals.
The Green Clubs of America is open to any student at any school level.  Your school can start a chapter today.  We also want to compliment other student organizations and help them with "Green and Sustainable" projects!
Please contact us if you have any questions!
